ILTM LATIN AMERICA 2020 POSTPONED

Reed Travel Exhibitions has confirmed that it has postponed its São Paulo based luxury travel event, ILTM Latin America, due to the escalating coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and following the recommendation from the São Paulo Governor to restrict all gatherings of over 500 people. Remaining at Ibirapuera's Bienal Pavilion, the event will now take place on 4 – 7 May 2021.

In a statement released today, Alison Gilmore, ILTM Portfolio Director, said:

“We have been monitoring the escalation of COVID-19. Our hope was to celebrate ILTM Latin America’s 10th edition in true Brazilian-style, as I am sure you did too. It is imperative that we maintain our commitment to prioritize the health and safety of everyone involved with ILTM Latin America. We would like to express sincere gratitude to all exhibitors, partners, attendees, suppliers, media and staff for their support and communications during this challenging time and we look forward to welcoming you all to São Paulo in May 2021. Our thoughts continue to be with all those affected in these difficult times.

“We also recognize that whilst face-to-face meetings might be on hold for the moment, the luxury travel industry will not grind to a halt. Business has to continue. So, over the coming weeks, we will be creating ways of keeping our luxury travel community connected, to continue supporting our friends and colleagues during this difficult period.” Gilmore added. .
